Secret Origins 44 cover
The editor (either Mark Waid or Denny O'Neil) asked me to move Batman's leg. I obliged and also added some black to his cowl and cape for good measure.
I agree with the leg movement. I think it is a touch more creepier with the leg raised. Like they truly are sneaking up on him while he is investigating. Love the shading and coloring.
I agree, Patrick. Most of the time I'm annoyed when I have to make changes, especially after I've finished the inks, but this time they were right and it improved the cover.
Benny, I probably just used white out of an electric eraser to take out the old leg.
