Vampirella and Frankenstein

This piece has been around quite a long time. I drew it with markers and colored pencils for a friend's sketchbook, then touched it up for the cover for my first sketchbook. I think it even appears in the Modern Masters book. Recently I found a copy of the preliminary pencil sketch so now I have an excuse for posting it here...

  1. wow, it's beautiful, looking at your drawings, ink in the previous step, do it all seem easy, but then I find it personally when the paper before I understand what your technical level is high. errors are the fault of google translate :)

  2. I love the pose you can never go wrong with Frankenstein. What was used for color?

  3. Markers and colored pencils, but some of the final touch-ups were done in Photoshop.

  4. For some reason, the color version appears as an 'x' when I click on it.
    Looks beautiful, in any case.

  5. That's strange. It works for me.

    It's also posted here:

  6. Thanks for the new link, Kevin.
I don't understand why it doesn't work when I click it. These bloggy things are far from perfect...never had a problem before.

That color is GORGEOUS! Wonderful design!
