Doctor Strange commission pencils
Looks like I got tired of filling in the black background with a pencil and just started "X"ing. This was drawn a few years ago and I'm sure I have a scan of the inks... I just haven't found it yet.
This question relates to technique and work procedure, which I am interested in. Since you were penciling the drawing, and then you inked it, why would you even bother to fill in the black areas with pencil? Wouldn't that just be a waste of time?
A very good picture!
ReplyDeleteI love these Kinds of blogs.

ReplyDeleteYes, it's definitely a waste of time, but sometimes you want to see what it's going to look like before you add the inks.
