Wrightson's Solomon Grundy pencils, page 22
In case some of us have forgotten, this page shows how skillfully Bernie arranges areas of black and white. He mastered "chiaroscuro" before most of us could spell the word. It's all there in the pencils, which makes an inker's job a lot easier.
As discussed elsewhere, this story was written, pencilled and inked in 1997, but remained unpublished until 2010, in "Batman's Hidden Treasures".

Batman inventory cover sketches
I posted the final prelim and the inks back here, but now, thanks to Ande Parks, I have scans of several of the earlier sketches:

Two Man-Bat sketches
Scans provided by the beneficent Mr. Hiroshi Morisaki. I believe the first one was drawn for the Batman animated series around 1990 or '91.

Secret Origin of Clayface, Mike Mignola pencils
I wrote a lengthy recollection of this project's sordid history here, but it looks like I've only posted one of Mike's pencilled pages so far. This one is scanned from a bad photostat so if I come across the scans I made directly from the pencils I'll update this post. But don't hold your breath.

Batman "Four of a Kind" cover
From 1998. Pencils by Dave Taylor. I think the only editorial request was that I make Poison Ivy's head a bit smaller.
