I'm afraid I don't know what this was for.  Maybe a poster?  I should also apologize for the poor scan of the pencils.  I think they were a little on the light side and the copier obviously wasn't working very well, adding vertical lines not present in Joe's pencils.

Batman & Catwoman pin-up color guide

This is a follow-up to an older post that you can see here.  I did a very detailed color guide and Lovern Kindzierski created the seps.  Guides like this were rarely returned to the artists. They were either discarded, filed away or snatched up by people in the office who liked them.  Fortunately, I went to the trouble of making a color copy of this one. As you can see, I went a little crazy with the notations.

Batman & Catwoman pin-up

This was for Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #50. As I've probably mentioned elsewhere, these pin-ups were usually wide open, with an editor calling up and asking for a drawing but leaving it to the artist to come up with an idea. I don't know where this one came from. I think I just started sketching Batman standing there and the other elements started to appear. I remember Archie Goodwin commenting on the mouse in the trap and Robin's expression.
