I found this recently when I was going through some old files. Most of the Marvel covers that I drew back in the late '80's were for Carl Potts. He would send me sketches like this and I'd do the rest. Carl was always a pleasure to work with. When I told him I wanted to do more lettering and less drawing, he sent me a bunch of lettering assignments, including two of the three logos on this cover.
