A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
Wonderful! I love your work!
ReplyDeletemy favourite piece in my collection !!
ReplyDeletethanks as always Kevin !
No one does Doctor Strange as well as you!
ReplyDeleteYou are an amazing talent, sir! I love your work!
ReplyDeleteOh this looks great! I still have that Dr. Strange and Clea print you did a while back. Your work is always inspiring!
ReplyDeleteI always loved Ditko's, Colan's (RIP, my favorite artist) and Brunner's DOCTOR STRANGE works. The GN by Mike Mignola and Mark Badger was great too. Your portraits of the Doctor always reminds me of the classic works of the above mentioned artists. If there would be a good writer for a series or even a one-shot that really catches the spirit of those old 60's/70's works you'd be a great artist for it. Since the 90's Marvel did nothing but crap with this character. Why don't they put out some "retro" stuff for their nostalgic fans who are in their 40's/50's? LOL
ReplyDeleteBack in the '80's, Marvel Fanfare ended up with so many Dr. Strange stories because every artist in town wanted a chance to draw at least one Doc story.
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the Barry Smith and Frank Brunner stories, especially the arc written by Steve Englehart.
