Dr. Strangefate, page 14

As an inker, it was easy to look good, sandwiched between the pencils of José Luis Garcia-Lopez and the coloring of Matt Hollingsworth. Published about 14 years ago, these pages still make me smile...

  1. STILL one of my all-time favorite comics.

Visually, it's as close to perfect as can be reached by mere humans.

Heck, the ONLY thing that I don't like about this comic is that it
    wasn't Stephen Strange in there.

ThanX for posting from this gem!

  2. That iss was definitely the high point of the entire Amalgam thing. But don't underplay your effort, dood.
    You totally rocked it.

  3. In the last panel, that little bit of shadow added over the woman's left eye (her left, not ours) in the inks is such a subtle touch, but adds so much personality!

It's great being able to look at all three stages to see what each individual artist brought to the final piece.

  4. wow! thanks for posting Kevin, love your blog. I'm a huge fan of both you and Gracia Lopez.
