Wednesday Comics: Metal Men page 7 pencils and inks

Here's a bulletin:  José is really good.

Wednesday Comics: Metal Men page 6 pencils and inks

Pencils by the incomparable José Luis Garcia-Lopez.

Wednesday Comics: Metal Men page 9 pencils and inks

This project is winding down and I haven't posted much about it in several weeks so here's one of my favorite pages.  First, the amazing pencils by José Luis Garcia-Lopez.

And the inks.

I think this issue, #9, will go on sale today.

More Metal Men pencils

I'm even more pressed for time than usual so I'll just post a nice panel from a new Metal Men page by José. Haven't started inking this one yet but -- as always -- I'm looking forward to it.

Another Metal Men preview

Once again, I'm only showing you about half the page. José keeps dazzling me with his ability to organize panels that have a lot of different elements in them.

Metal Men preview, with COLOR!

This is just half of the first page but I wanted to give you guys a taste of the beautiful coloring by Trish Mulvihill.

Metal Men page 1 pencils

DC is using this in their promotional material so I guess it's okay to show the whole page here now.  The image size is about 16" x 22"!  This is for Mark Chiarello's Wednesday Comics project so it'll be printed very close to original art size.  Needless to say, I'm inking it tight.
