I think we all knew I'd have to do a finished version of this old, rejected card sketch... didn't we?  I'm so predictable.

I misunderstood the instructions when Upper Deck asked me for a Teen Titans group shot. I did a layout with the characters as large as possible in the miniscule space allowed on the card.  Turns out they wanted something more like the final design that I showed back here.

This was originally a commission for my buddy Robert Jewell.  Later, it was published in TwoMorrows' Titans Companion.

Teen Titans Card: 2004

This one was fun, especially since they let me draw the characters my way; younger and a little awkward. In the rough sketch they all look grim but they're smiling in the pencils. I don't remember if that was a request from DC or Upperdeck or if I just changed it on my own.
