Wonder Woman pin-up

This one was published in Wonder Woman #50, January, 1991. There weren't any specific guidelines from DC; they just asked for a pin-up to include in the anniversary issue. I asked if I could draw the Golden Age WW but they said they'd rather have the current model. I sort of split the difference. And who knows where that corpulent Minotaur came from. I think I was just trying to have fun with the piece and letting my weird imagination run wild.

  1. As it happens, this is one of my favorite drawings of yours. That Minotaur is such a great touch.

Also liked that one WW issue you inked in that style you don't usually ink in... the "ligne claire" style. So good when you do, though!

  4. This is nice!

I was just reading your issue of Doctor Strange the other day. Yes the one from the (mid?) 80's.
    One of my favorite issues.

  5. Is this a cover of the origin issue "Buster Oakley Gets His Gastric Bypass"?

    PS: the minotaur is great.
