Superman #702 cover art
This one goes on sale today so I guess I don't have to keep it under wraps any longer. It's a variant cover so who knows how many copies will be available in the stores. At least one copy has already shown up on eBay so I know they're out there. A scan of the pencils and some of these prelims were posted here a few weeks ago but I'll repost them to make things a little more convenient. As I explained last time, when I did the first sketch I misunderstood the editor's instructions and thought Clark was supposed to be in plain clothes.

Thanks for not only posting the final image but all the steps. With covers like these, they are usually a 1 in 10 or 1 in 25, so the true fans of your work have a hard time getting a copy, let alone just seeing it.
ReplyDeleteLove the perspective of the buildings as it relates to the characters. Three layers. Awesome!!
