A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
Awesome perspective shot there. Like the way the black, angular background helps frame the figure as well.

ReplyDeleteIt makes it easier to catch mistakes. I'm trying to get in the habit of doing it throughout the layout and pencilling stages.
ReplyDeleteSweet piece, and interesting about flipping the image to catch mistakes. I know some artists use a mirror.
