Superman Gallery cover sketch

I found this pencil sketch for a wrap-around Superman cover that I did back in the early '90's. The editor, Mike Carlin, didn't ask for anything specific so I suggested a big robot battle.

    Smash 'em up. Awesome example of how great lighting can translate metallic surfaces. Kudos.

    when I first saw the pencil drawing I thought it was your take on Magnus Robot fighter, not Superman ;)

    i love how you inked the tech on the robot and the little bit of damage you put on the foreground bot! i love the subtle details in your work
