A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
Interesting that you went all the way to the pencils before you decided to put the hammer arm in there. Was that a last minute decision or had you always had that in mind but just wanted to flesh out the main figure and body language first?
ReplyDeleteThere was one additional sketch with the hammer and I'm pretty sure it was suggested by the editor, Tom Palmer, Jr.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see you process Kevin!
ReplyDeleteKeep em comin.
classic! big fan and really happy i found the blog!
ReplyDeleteHey Kevin- I'd like to see if you'd have any interest in a single image commission for something we have underway with our book. We've got one issue out and another one out in a couple weeks. It's not through a major publisher, but it's available for purchase online. http://www.indyplanet.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=1785&osCsid=86a45d0fe2095edd3d0478f19c3438b7
ReplyDeleteI'd like to give you a bunch of information on it, and to see if you're interested. If you'd like, shoot me an email at epicallyuninventive@msn.com so I can explain a little more.
