Strikeforce Morituri #21 cover inks over Mignola
The pencils for this piece were lost, even before I was asked to ink it, so Marvel had me work over an 11x17" copy. I really like the way Mike drew the dead guy in the lower left corner.

so the original art to this is just nowlan inks over a copy of mignola's pencils? did the original pencils ever show up anywhere ?
ReplyDeleteMarvel mailed me a Xerox of the pencils and I inked on a separate sheet of vellum tracing paper. I don't know if the pencils ever reappeared or not.
