Another piece from the Upper Deck series. They asked for a "1970's" Batman so I tried to draw the costume details a little like the Neal Adams and Irv Novick versions.

A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
Cool.
ReplyDeleteWhat's up with two different colored versions? Did they use both?
I did the one with the gray background first but changed it to green for more contrast. I think I like the gray better. I'm not sure which, if either, they used.
ReplyDeleteI recently bought this piece on Ebay, i was so proud, it's my first Kevin Nowlan original! Do you happen to know what card series it was used for? If you ever want to sell the prelims I would love to have them as well, if you're willing to part with them. Thanks for the great great work, I'm really proud to have it as part of my collection.
