Ra's al Ghul card art
The final version of this one appeared in the Modern Masters book but I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the steps that got me there.

Very true that lighting will make or break this drawing and as expected, you were able to pull this off without a hitch. Love the way you did use the pit itself as the light source. I'll go on the record and say I prefer the black and white finished version better than the colored version.
ReplyDeleteStill interested in the choice of the green colors though. Figured a redish/orange would have been an interesting take but you know, it all works. I'm the last to question a genius.
I had a similar thought this morning when I was posting it. I don't know why I didn't use a red background. I think it would have been a lot more effective.
