Lucifer bust designs

I should mention that all of these were designed with the elbows bent and the hands raised a bit so the arms wouldn't be chopped off.  In this instance, a martini glass provided us with a useful prop.

  1. I really don't understand why they changed it so much from your design. The hand gesture on yours, and the look in his eyes has been lost in the way they did the sculpture. Anyway, awesome design.

  2. I notice both hands were in contact with the glass in your design. Were you consulted with the changes in the sculpting phase?

  3. Id guess the hand change was to reduce breakage of the martini glass stem. Thats a fairly common change in sculpt jobs. Awesome designs Kevin.

  5. Love the way you integrated the snakes into the image without distracting from Lucifer. All sorts of underplay going on in that image.

  8. I was pleased to get this some years back. Even more thrilled when I discovered that my numbered edition was 666 of 900 :-)

  9. Kevin, May I use your second photo lucifer-turnaround.jpg to be my blog's background image? I will remove it if you don't admit a.s.a.p. Thanks a lot

  10. It won't bother me if you use it. But it was nice of you to ask!
