The Vision: Art for a Marvel card

One of my favorite Marvel characters...

  1. For some reason, the pencilled version of this drawing reminds me of the late, great Alex Toth. Maybe it is the way the Vision is more streamlined coming out of the wall or the shading with the pencil on the cape, arms and legs. Maybe it is the way you do your breakdowns as well. Did you reduce the main image to create the reflection image or was that a seperate drawing that you just eyeballed?

  2. Spooky and cool! And I love that you put in the little white dots in his eyes just like Adams used to draw him. Any chance you have prelims and a large finished scan for that painting you did of the Scarlet Witch and the Vision? That remains one of my all-time favorites.

  4. Patrick: I drew the image in the reflection. I guess I could have copied and pasted the larger image but I wanted to change the angle of his face slightly so that it wouldn't look too flat.
