Death-Stalker pencils, Marvel Universe art
The inks are by Joe Rubinstein. This was for the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe series, way back in 1987. As you can see, I still hadn't learned how to draw shoes.

I wouldn't say you didn't knew to draw shoes. Those looks better than most of shoes done by most of artists, is just that you draw better and better.
