Vertigo Jam: Sandman page 1
Page two of this story can be seen here. I don't think I drew exactly what Neil Gaiman was asking for in the first panel but we talked about it and he said, "Close enough".

What I really like about this page is the sheets on the bed. They are shaded interestly, by that, they aren't just neat sheets and drapery, they are frumpled, messy and chaotic. Like someone that just had a bad dream. And that works so damn well.
