A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
OK on the inking. I was just about to ask what you might have been using on that? Looks much different from your other stuff.
ReplyDeleteI was using a Hunt 512 bowl pointed pen. I didn't know any better.
ReplyDeletewhen I use ink pen the finishing is not good. I wanna get one of those, I like his stroke.

Those were the days when I first discovered your work. Comics Journal, Comics Feature, CBG... it seemed your were showing up everywhere. You had a style that was unique and was a breath of fresh air!
ReplyDeleteYep, I peeked in The Comics Journal library and it's in issue #71, still in print and available from Fantagraphics! You had a very nice Wonder Woman in the same article.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mike!
ReplyDeleteI would pay good money for an Arak/Captain Carrot crossover series!
