I'm not sure of the date on this one but it's at least a couple of years old. I didn't like my first take on the Robin figure so I made him larger and quite a bit younger.

A random collection of material from comic artist Kevin Nowlan. Started with the best of intentions, but like most other efforts, doomed to perish from neglect as soon as the novelty wears off.
Not only did making Robin younger and larger, by pushing him more closer to the viewer, it really added a great depth to the overall image. Love the overall image. Perfect.
ReplyDeleteCapes and drapery. Man, now that's a topic you need to discuss. How you learned to draw and ink that so wonderfully.
Hey Kevin, how ya doing?
ReplyDeleteYes, really loved Robin here too, he's what he was supposed to be, a kid...Really nice indeed.
